Oakdale Electric Cooperative (OEC) is accepting applications from qualified candidates for the position of Temporary Apprentice Lineworker. This position allows for up to 1,000 hours of work for OEC. Skills and aptitude testing may be administered. In this role you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working directly with experienced team members on various line construction and maintenance projects.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma or certificate of completion from an approved electric power distribution training program required.
• Experience: Requires a valid Wisconsin driver's license, commercial driver's license, and current First Aid/CPR card.
• Skills: Self-motivated, organized, and able to meet deadlines. Strong verbal and written communication, teamwork, and professionalism are essential. Basic skills in grammar, math, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities are required. Safety awareness and a positive attitude are a must.

Compensation
Competitive hourly wage.
