The Tomah Area School District has the following vacancy beginning in the 2024-2025 school year:
 
High School Social Studies Teacher
Tomah High School is seeking an innovative educator who can work collaboratively with colleagues, develop positive relationships with students and parents, and build partnerships with the community.  This position requires a dynamic and progressive teacher who has a strong background in social studies.  This is a full-time position starting with the 2024-2025 school year.   Co-curricular coaching and advisor positions are available. 
 
Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated knowledge of:
 

  1. Wisconsin Standards for Social Studies
  2. Experience teaching Psychology and/or AP Psychology
  3. RtI and PBIS
  4. Professional Learning Communities
  5. Multiple Teaching Licenses for Social Studies Subject Areas  
 
Qualifications:  Must have, or be eligible for, a Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction issued #2700 (Social Studies), or #1725 (History) and #1740 (Psychology).  Must be licensed to teach grades 9-12.
