About Us

The Tomah Youth Baseball Association is a volunteer based organization dedicated to promote youth baseball to the kids in the Tomah area. Our organization has three different levels to the program.

Rookie League is for kids entering K & 1st Grade. In this league, they are introduced to baseball fundamentals and rules.

Minor League is for kids entering 2nd & 3rd Grade. This is an intercity league were the kids expand their fundamentals and learning. They are separated into teams and play games among themselves while having the coaches pitch to them.

Major League 9/10 year olds (entering grades 4-5). For the second year in a row, this group will continue to stay in town and split in to five teams and play each other. The nights they do not play a game, they will use this time to practice their fundamentals. There will also be tournament teams for both of these levels; tryouts for this team will take place the week of April 27.

Major League 11-14 year olds (entering grades 6-9). This league moves into the LaCrosse Independent Baseball League where they will play up to two league games a week (if numbers allow, they will play a split schedule and then play 1 game per week and 1 practice). There will be tournament teams for all of these levels; tryouts for this takes place the end of April. The league teams will also have the opportunity to participate in weekend tournaments
