About Us

Family Promise is a national organization that uses resources already in the community to help homeless children and their families turn their lives around. Family Promise of Monroe County serves up to 14 family members (2-5 families) at a time. Families enter the program after an in-depth intake process that includes a background check and personal information to discover the events that led to their homelessness. Families meet with a case manager to develop goals and steps to achieve sustainable housing.
