About Us

Catch the aroma of cranberries... at the Wisconsin Cranberry Discovery Center as you see, touch and taste Wisconsin’s No. 1 fruit crop. The Discovery Center’s 4,800-square foot exhibit hall details the history of the state’s cranberry industry from the days when Native Americans gathered fruit in the wild to today’s unique growing and harvesting methods. Items on display include a 150-year-old dugout canoe found on a nearby cranberry marsh, a log cabin used by a local carpenter for making cranberry hand rakes and one of the first cranberry harvesting machines. Learn about the history of our 100+ year old building, the historical Union Cranberry Warehouse, and the wildlife that makes cranberry marshes their home.

Our vintage ice cream parlor area offers locally handmade artisan ice cream with 12 different cranberry flavors, specialty sundaes, milk shakes, cranberry candy, and a featured cranberry food item made weekly right here at the Center.
The boutique gift shop offers Wisconsin-made gourmet food products, over 250 pieces of unique cranberry glass, handmade cranberry soaps, cranberry bath bombs, books, and much more!
